The fun and passion I started to enjoy as a 13 y.o. teenager. At that time I got my first lhasa male, already a veteran. At the time, I knew nothing about the dogshows. But I was determined to learn. From the first steps to the perfection... a few years later, here I am.

The first hit...

In 2002 while I was still at the high school, I had a chance to work for the best handlers duo there has been in Europe. Mia Ejerstad and Thomas Wastiaux in Italy! They were an excellent team and made my first experience with professional handling very enjoyable. I realized what the professional handling is all about.
I decided to repeat this experience just with Mia two years later. Her knowledge of grooming taught me a lot about what is behind the top winners in the World! Thank you Mia!

The land of dreams...

My first time in America, she was there.. a very special lady, always funny Mrs. Melissa Papke, a wonderful breeder of Langpur Shih Tzus and Lhasa Apsos. She was there at the very beginning for me, helpfull and patient to explain all about the American system and shows.

Melissa was also very important for me in the later American trip and introduced me to Mrs. Linda Kendall Smith. This of course was a fatal thing for me, so there really is a lot I am grateful to Mel for. She is a true friend that is rare to find!


Lady in red... 

Whenever I win at the show I think of her, this one lady is going to take all the credit for this win again! And she should! Ms. Barbara Beissel from the USA!

She is known for decades as one of the finest toy breed handlers. Barbara is an expert in the handling and grooming, specializing on the drop coated breeds. I travelled the big part of America with her in the motorhome and got the best joy of the American dog shows I possibly could! I was the first assistant to her, travelling to 3-4 shows every weekend, with the Silky terrier and a Boston terrier specials, plus several yorkshires and havanaise class dogs. Barbara trusted me with all the grooming and was wonderful with teaching me new tricks. I was honored to work for her and will always keep her in my thoughts when winning! :)

She taught me all about art of handling and perfect grooming. None of the dogs I groom, none of the topknots I put up would be perfect have I not worked for her. Thank you my dear for everything and yes, you desrve all the credit. I am happy to make you proud!

 

European fun...

After I came back from the US, I started to work with Mrs. Ingrid Dedkova from Czech Republic. I worked exclusively with the beautiful yorkshire terriers and jack russell terriers of Bohemia Platina for almost three years. We worked as a team and had a great fun showing many dogs. During this time I had a chance to handle many of them, several to the highest wins. It was a wonderful experience and I will allways be thankful to Ingrid for allowing me to work with the dogs of highest quality. She does a wonderful job as a breeder, has a great eye on dogs and is very talented when it comes to show training. Working with her was a joyable experience, actually I think I could never have asked for a better one.

Now it is time to move on... I am showing my lovely girl Ally but I am occasionaly available to groom and show dogs for others. Up to now, I have shown several breed of FCI group 3, 4, 5 & 9. Feel free to contact me for more information!
