News 2008 ... |
What a year... The new year is coming up and it brings a lot of memories, lots of feelings come back looking through the pictures. I remember year or so ago I was just looking at the puppy pictures that Mrs. Linda Kendall Smith from Orlane had sent me. I already felt that one of them is going to be the special one. Just a few months later I realized which one...
I feel very fortunate to be able to own Ally, Orlane´s All Too Easy. My dream dog, the lhasa I wanted since I first read about the fabulous dogs of Orlane. She is a dream girl, very lady-like and always with the matters of a Princess.. well, almost always.
Her happy temperament has been a joy to live with. She loves to play, enjoys her toys and enjoys attention. And of course, she is a shoe freak, but which lady is not?
Ally entered the showrings in the September 2008. Just 9 months old, she won her first Best of breed over an adult competitors. Until today she opened several Junior Championships, finished in three coutries, won a Junior Best In Show. And the list continues with a bookshelf eaten, several squeeky toys torn up and many magazines read through and through... Last but not least, one heart won over!
May the next year be at least as happy
as 2008. Happy New Year to everyone! |

The Lhasa apso was judges by Mrs. Paula Heikkinen Lehkonen from Finland. I was very anxious to know what Mrs. Heikkinen Lehkonen will think of Ally and was very happy when she commented on her very nicely, awarding her with the BOB Junior and Best of Breed and got also qualificated to Crufts 2009. Ally turned 9 months old just a few days ago and therefor, according to the European show system, she can finally compete for the titles. This weekend she was shown in junior class at two international shows in Debrecen, Hungary. On Saturday, she showed well and recived the junior
title CAJC, Best junior female and started her Hungarian
Junior Championship with this. Thank you Mr Stefan Sinko for this! Later in the finals Ally was chosen in the cut of 4 best in group, but didnt make it to two awarded placements. She is still a baby and so its hard to compete with the grown Champions sometimes. Nonetheless, she did great, made me proud and happy. There is plenty of time for everything... |

The puppy I have been dreaming of and waiting for
for a long time has finally stepped on the European land. I have had
the most pleasurable trip to the US, visiting my friend Linda Kendall
Smith at her house. I have been a great fan of her dogs since I was
a young boy and I feel to be very fortunate to be able to say that my
first lhasa puppy is from the famous Orlane kennel. I could never thank
Linda enough for this wonderful little girl.
