It has been a busy couple of weeks for us, but we have some news for the fans and friends. last weekend I had the pleasure to judge the Junior Handling Final competitionf of Finland, in one of my favourite cities, Helsinki.
I would like to thank to all of the 20 top handlers who entered my ring. They have done a wonderful job and there should be many more placements for all of them. Our sport is growing well with these young people, passionate for dogs and shows. It really was a pleasure to judge them. Last but not least, thank you to the Finnish Kennel club for making the trip enjoyable and a wonderful memoire. Here are the winners:

8.12.2009 What a weekend..
It was our great pleasure to come to two International

Pedigree Cup Championship show on Saturday evening. The first year of
the Pedigree Cup Championship in Slovakia and we are pleased to present
you the The Saturday show was a pleasure, very well organized and ally was feeling great. The lhasa apsos were judged by Mrs. Zdenka Jilkova from Czech Republic who loved our Ally. Gave her a champion class win, Best bitch with CACIB and BOB. In the final ring Ally went on to go
ThePedigree Cup evening began with two judges judging each group champions and choosing 16 dogs out of the whole number almost 400 dog entered. It was Mrs. Zdena Jilkova and Mrs. Inese Pablaka from Latvia. The judging in the pre-ring was very fast and the judges did not show the slightest sign of any prediction of who they put up for the finals.
We went on to enjoy the dinner with friends and were waiting for the 16 champions to be announced. I was really excited and happy to hear our number being called out. And at that moment I thought this is great! Never would I have thought we would have gone all the way.
There were three judges judging the 16 dogs in the K.O. system. Mrs. Gabriela Ridarcikova from Slovakia, Mr. Jaroslav Vaclavik from Czech Republic and Mr. Vilmos Kardos from Hungary. We were competing against many wonderful top dogs and champions. I cannot describe how winning a contest like this feels. It is wonderful, amazing. Ally did it all just right.. I am just on the cloud Nine.. What a show! On Sunday we were again very pleased to win Best of Breed with another CACIB. the breed judge was Mrs. Linda volarikova from Slovakia. A huge Thank You to ALL the judges mentioned who we had the pleasure to show, for appreciating our Ally and her qualities. Also thank you to all my friends and supporters who made the show so wonderful. Also thanks to the friends and new friends for the fabulous party after Pedigree Cup.. But most of all THANK YOU to my darling Ally who is just the best dog and a dear friend. She does it all herself, I could not be prouder of her. Last but not least, most of the pictures are taken by Dolina Rivendell and Janusz Swiatnicki. Thanks a lot! After a short break we decided to join a great trip to the Zagreb Winter shows in Croatia. My good friend Ingrid Dedkova has just bought a new motorhome and we could not miss it. The comfort it brings is amazing and reminds me a bit of my work months in America that changed my life. The trip to Zagreb has been a lot of fun with good friends and some very nice results.
Our Ally, Mult. Ch. Orlane´s All too Easy, is
turning two years tomorrow (25th November) so this was the last opportunity
to show her in the intermediate class. On saturday lhasas were judged
by Mr. Goran Bodegard from Sweden who awarded our Ally CAC
with res. CACIB and second Best Bitch which we very
much appreciate.
Thank you to both judges and to my friends for a time well spent. Thanks to Tereza Subertova for the wonderful pictures again!

The weekend trip to zagreb International dogshows started with drama and my forgotten passport. Croatia is not a member of the EU yet and we need to pass the borders with identity control. I was about 120 km from home when realized my passport is not in my bag. I had no other chance but turn back, drive home and all the way back to dogshow. Fortunately, I arrived in a good time. The beautiful city of Zagreb greeted us with a lovely spring weather... so there really was a good finish after a bad start, in the end.

1.1.2009 Today we added a new picture on "Ally", as well as a new gallery section on her site with a gallery "On The Move" to start with. |
What a year... The new year is coming up and it brings a lot of memories, lots of feelings come back looking through the pictures. I remember year or so ago I was just looking at the puppy pictures that Mrs. Linda Kendall Smith from Orlane had sent me. I already felt that one of them is going to be the special one. Just a few months later I realized which one...
I feel very fortunate to be able to own Ally, Orlane´s All Too Easy. My dream dog, the lhasa I wanted since I first read about the fabulous dogs of Orlane. She is a dream girl, very lady-like and always with the matters of a Princess.. well, almost always.
Her happy temperament has been a joy to live with. She loves to play, enjoys her toys and enjoys attention. And of course, she is a shoe freak, but which lady is not?
Ally entered the showrings in the September 2008. Just 9 months old, she won her first Best of breed over an adult competitors. Until today she opened several Junior Championships, finished in three coutries, won a Junior Best In Show. And the list continues with a bookshelf eaten, several squeeky toys torn up and many magazines read through and through... Last but not least, one heart won over!
May the next year be at least as happy
as 2008. Happy New Year to everyone! |
